The Ashley and Loggerheads Community First Responders travel an average of 600 miles every month  responding to 999 called in the area.  They have now responded to 1996 . calls.

It costs about £5000 a year to keep the responder group running.

So far since going live the responders have managed to give 24 hour cover 7 days a week, but as everyone knows the responders are all volunteers and still have to continue with their normal lines of work, family life and holidays etc.  it is because of this it is now becoming more and more difficult to provide cover 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
